I suppose I should do like the others and list my Christmas presents. They're just so... many!

-The Last Mimzy and Tuck Everlasting from Mum. (I've seen Tuck Everlasting a few years ago and it was quite pretty. We watched The Last Mimzy on Christmas Day and it's... hard to describe. It had its flaws, but it's still very good.)
-Aska, the new book by Yrsa Sigurðardóttir, from Dad.
-The Raccoon Princess, a Japanese/Chinese film, from Jared. (I call Mika a raccoon - does that make me a raccoon princess?)
I can't remember what Kristján got me. Did he get me anything?

-A beautiful porcelain bell from Heiðar.
-A homemade upa-pillow from Jenny and Chris.
-A book about the Beatles, a keychain that says "LOVE" and a little pack with some tape and staplers from Lísa.
-A pretty rock from María.
-A book about spionage equipment from Pétur. (I thought it was a joke, but Kristján glanced at the part about hacking and declared that this was for real. I'm sure it will come in handy.)
-A deck of Yellow Submarine playing cards from Sunna.
-What appears to be the soundtrack from Love Actually and the album The First Crusade by Jakobínarína from Tóti and JónÞór.
-A candle and the soundtrack from Across the Universe from Unnur. (She asked me to tell her whether the Beatles are being slaughtered in this album.)

I really hope I'm not forgetting anyone.
Yesterday I went to a family dinner at my uncle's house. We played with my new Yellow Submarine cards. I was wearing my commie beret. I explained to one of my cousins that the star on it stands for the Soviet Union, which is now called Russia (it's not quite true, but I wasn't about to go into political discussions with a 9-year-old). She said she liked the symbol. That's a good sign. Hehehe!
