Tired.

Mika has come to visit me. Hooray! He arrived yesterday. He landed in Liverpool and took a bus to Manchester from there. I was going to pick him up from the bus station, but due to communication failure, we ended up in different parts of the city. Thank goodness for mobile phones or this situation would have been extremely bad.

Speaking of mobile phones; my charger is broken. D: The only reason why I'm not cut off from the world right now is that I've put my sim-card (I'm actually not sure how to spell that) into Mika's phone.
We were going to buy a new charger today, but it was far too rainy to hang around outside very much.
Mika's not actually staying with me but with a couple of friends of mine who live relatively nearby. Very relatively. It would probably take around five minutes by car, but it's quite a long way to walk. It's not too bad, though. I managed to get there this morning without getting lost (though I did get soaked and so did my poor map).
John and Amy, the people Mika is staying with, must be the coolest married couple I know. After being in their place for the first time, I discovered that they are even cooler than I thought, since Mika's room is filled with interesting DVD's and videos and books and stuff. Amy's got a Harry Potter shrine with a stuffed Hedwig on top. Luvverly.

According to my soaked map, there was supposed to be a library near John and Amy's place, so we set out on a quest to find it to see if I could get some books I need that I couldn't find in the Central Library. When we got to the library, however, a sign informed us that it had moved. So we went to the new location, but couldn't find it. Meh!

On the way home we bought some books from a charity shop for 50p each. The books being Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, Three Act Tragedy by Agatha Christie and Monty Python's Flying Circus: Just the Words. *hugs books* Yay!

I should probably go to sleep soon. Meow!
