It annoys me that I still don't have my grades. I want to know how I'm doing!
One of my courses is called Reading Popular Fiction and it's promising to be very interesting. Our first subject is The Murder of Roger Ackroyd by Agatha Christie, which I don't seem to be able to find anywhere. Meh! Amongst others, we'll also be reading Stephen King's Carrie, Phillip K. Dick's Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? and J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Shiny!
We're also required to read a Mills and Boon novel - it doesn't matter which one, because they're all the same anyway (it took me a while to figure out that Mills and Boon is the English equivalent of Rauða Serían). I've never really read one of these crappy romance novels, so it might be interesting to analyse one. It will just be horribly embarrassing to borrow one from the library.
