Between the Darkness and the Light
Somewhere in the unknown, she looked down upon the Earth.
For my absence, the world changed. If only I could...
...no, my time has passed.
Time could not be measured in this place, but to her, an eternity stretched out around her as she dwelt within the lonliness. It was tempting for this soul to succumb, to take her place among the flames of hell.
And yet, she could not.
The eternity gave her nothing, except the time to think.
And so she did, until she Understood.
Had she the ability to shed tears for this, she would have. But being beyond such things now, she knew where to find what she was looking for...
"What took you so long?" the voice beside her spoke.
"I didn't think I'd ever see you again...you were..."
"But you understand now, our souls are not such fragile things that they are ever entirely gone. He would not permit it, they are ours, of His creation, even though it took my own eternity to find myself again."
"Forgive me..."
"You know I already have, you only had to forgive yourself to find me."
"What happens now?"
"We move on, to forever."
"Will you be with me?"
"Always."
It was then that the twin souls departed the world. For whatever destination they departed to was left to the world remain a mystery.

OOC: I considered how to end this journal, and this took a while to write, but it was time to write the last post. I hope you all enjoyed reading, as much as I've enjoyed reading yours. Again, a belated thank you to all of you who made this one of the best characters I've ever had the opportunity to play.
I'll be making a new LJ for the new PC, when I do I will post the information here.
