Phoenix- Meeting with Mags

She believed in her letter, that the Magdelena that Sanctified Miria knew would be understanding.   It had been well over a month, so she had no idea how much her apparent "change" had been circulated or talked about.  Nothing had crossed her desk so far, no rumors even.   She wasn't sure as to whether she should be relieved or worried at that.

It wasn't as if she'd never met her before... they'd spoken infrequently, but she enjoyed her company on those occasions.  Being from Tulsa, she would have had to have gotten used to a strong Ordo presence.    She smiled as she spotted her.  Unlike most other Sanctified, she wasn't clothed in the traditional all-black.

"Hello, Mags!  It's good to see you!"

The greeting and small talk set the stage for her to introduce the more sensitive but inevitable topic.  "There's something I need to tell you..."

It went amazingly well, she had taken it and immediately accepted it.   Had she not seen the sincerity in her eyes she would have been put on guard, but no... she really did want the best for her, understanding that her new existance was not a barrier to their continued friendship.

This proved especially fortunate for her, as the next thing on her list was to make (or remake, considering perspective) connections to the Ordo here.   She wanted a mentor, but she could not entirely trust her memory of who would be the best to go to.   At least she'd make her introductions to those of rank, give them the story if they had not heard, and see what would happen.
