"It's going to be fun he said," Changmin mocked, his head thrown back and the countless shopping bags he had accumulated no thanks to Jaejoong, sat all around him on the floor. A husky chuckle resounded next to him. Changmin side-eyed the man sitting next to him on the bench who had a smirk on bowed lips,

"And why are you here if you're not going to help me carry the bags?"

"Jaejoong wanted a supervisor," the man answered, crossing his legs at the knee. Changmin narrowed his eyes at the slight tone of confidence and turned his attention towards the older man,

"What does he need a supervisor for? And why ask you, his ex of all people?"

The man shrugged, crossing his arms about his chest, "He still trusts me, just like I still trust him."

"Yunho, stop pushing Changmin's buttons. You know very well why I brought you along, and it's not because I trust you," Jaejoong said with a sigh as he exited from the clothing store situated in front of the two arguing men.

"Joongie . . . I'm not lying when I said that I still trust you," Yunho pouted, uncrossing his arms and legs.

"I know. Come on, I just spotted Jihye. Oh, Changmin? Can you put these bags in the car?" Jaejoong dismissed the younger man with a wave of his hand.

"Yah, I'm not your slave," Changmin said with a defiant glare on his face. Jaejoong glared back,

"Fine. Stay here then. I'll come fetch you later."

"I'm not a dog either!" Changmin shouted as he watched both Jaejoong and Yunho walk away from him. He huffed and crossed his arms about his chest and glared hatefully at the bags that surrounded him.

"What's all this . . ." He looked through each bag with a sneer until he came upon a small, wrapped box in a jewelry store bag. He shook the small box with a frown and was tempted to unwrap the item, but he knew that the other man would notice so he placed it back in the bag and continued to look through the rest of the bags.

"So . . . You didn't tell me the real reason why Yunho was with us. I want to know," Changmin spoke up the moment he pulled out of the underground parking lot.

"Just pay attention to the road. I don't want to get into an accident," Jaejoong looked out of the window with a hand propped under his chin. Changmin gave a quick glance to the other man and returned his attention on the road,

"He said that he trusts you, but do you still trust him?"

He could see in his peripheral vision that the other man had turned slightly to look over at him.

"What are you trying to get at? If you think I still have feelings for Yunho, you're wrong."

"Then tell me why you've brought him along," Changmin pressed and heard the other man sigh,

"You're so persistent. I agreed to let him come with us because he wanted to spy on his sister. He's a protective person you know."

"Does he not have anything else to do besides following his sister around on her date?" Changmin scoffed, breaking slowly when they came to a red light.

"He's just doing his duty as the older brother. Don't tell me you don't do the same with your two younger sisters?" Jaejoong smirked when Changmin was quiet,

"See, you are protective as well. So don't talk bad about Yunho."

"Then . . . what's in that jewelry box?" Changmin changed the topic with a cough and released the brake pedal when the traffic light turned green. He felt the other man stare hard at him again.

"You looked?"

Changmin cleared his throat, "Well, you two were gone for quite a while and I had nothing to do until you came back . . ."

"You want to see what's inside?" Jaejoong asked and Changmin was curious, but was surprised that the other man didn't seem to try and deny about the box.

"But who is it for?" Changmin wondered when they finally entered the parking lot of their apartment complex. He parked in an empty stall and they both got out, each carrying a handful of shopping bags.

"I'll tell you when we get these bags upstairs and after we had our dinner and shower," Jaejoong promised.

Many hours later, Changmin finally settled in bed and tried to force himself to focus on other things in order to keep from thinking about what was in the jewelry box and who it was for. When the other man finally entered their shared bedroom with a chuckle, Changmin pouted.

"Why are you so curious? Did you think I bought it for you?"

Changmin felt the bed dip as Jaejoong sat on the mattress. He would be lying if he didn't think that the box was for him.

"Here."

Changmin looked up into his boyfriend's eyes and then down at the neatly packaged box,

"What?"

"Open it," Jaejoong urged with a tilt of his chin. Changmin raised a brow,

"Didn't you buy this for someone else?"

"Just open it while I'm being calm."

Changmin took the box from the other's palm and began unwrapping it. He opened the black jewelry case to find a ring. He looked up in shock,

"Hyung."

"Shim Changmin, will you marry me?"

"Hyung, what?" Changmin couldn't believe what was happening.

"Aren't you going to answer me? I did just asked you to marry me, you know," Jaejoong frowned when the younger man looked at the platinum band with his mouth agape.

"But I wanted to ask you first!" Changmin finally said when he found his voice. Jaejoong glared,

"Well too bad. I asked, so you have to answer."

"No. I want to do this again. It's supposed to be me that's proposing, not you," Changmin argued and got up from the bed.

"You, me, who cares as long as we get married in the end. Now just say 'yes' and kiss me," Jaejoong huffed.

"No," Changmin stepped away from the bed, "I've been planning my proposal for weeks now."

"Fine. Then we can do it like this, say 'yes' to my proposal and when the time comes, you can propose to me. I don't mind," Jaejoong offered but Changmin was stubborn,

"I don't want to. There's only going to be one proposal and that's by me."

Jaejoong rolled his eyes, "Stop being childish and just accept my ring."

Jaejoong sighed when Changmin just stood there with arms crossed about his chest and a pout on his face. He stood up from the bed and walked over to where the younger man was frowning,

"Seriously . . . What am I going to do with you?"

Changmin opened his mouth to argue but was silenced with a quick peck on the lips,

"Okay. I'll withdraw my ring and my proposal. But just so you know, I've been preparing for this day for a year now. Let's see what your proposal is like. It better be special or I'm going to get mad."

Changmin stared after the older man as Jaejoong walked out with the ring. A slow smile appeared on his lips,

"I knew I'd get my way in the end somehow."

He pulled out his cellphone and waited for the other person on the other line to pick up,

"Hyung, did you get those tickets to Rome like I asked?"
