Here is the first round of post-Atla stuff going around, only this time it's backed by the creators: the shipping war in a nutshell.

I love Mike and Bryan for doing this. So much.
As creators, they were amazingly open with their fanbase. This showed several times--mostly in parodies or a snippet or reference--in the series as well. I like how they can make fun of themselves, their characters, and the fandom that stalks/adores/hounds them, all the while making it hilarious. I'm not offended, mostly because I was not involved in the major battles that is Shipping in Avatarverse.
This is almost how I imagined it: Zuko and Katara would tire of each other, Tokka would be in the background, and Aang would get her back. The Azula thing, though, that got me giggling.

Something else to tickle an Avatard's funny bone: "Westside Story" Avatar-style, done by fans at a con. Good cosplay, script, and voice acting.
