Oh wow, today has not been brilliant.
Last night I checked my bank balances for the first time in a week...and on my visa card I am £95 over my overdraft...woops. So after having a slightly teary moment this morning, dad is lending me some of the money to pay it back, and I decided to switch to Natwest as they'd hopefully give me a bigger overdraft, something Halifax have refused to do because they're twats.
So I walked to the local small Natwest, they said to call, so I called up and they were 'flabberghasted' that my branch told me to call up, so then I got the train into Maidstone (child ticket! I'm broke!) And went to the big Natwest, and spent about 45 minutes setting everything up. But then I needed my last three statements from halifax, so I got the train home, walked a mile across a field (in the pouring rain) grabbed the statements, walked back to my local branch, and they faxed them over for me. Now I just need to hope Natwest are ok with giving me this account complete with £1400 overdraft.
Thank you to Nat who put up with me ranting at her at each new development this morning, and also sent me money unasked but highly appreciated.
On the plus side, spaghetti bolognaise for dinner, and I don't have to do anything else today, and Nightmare of You tomorrow!
