Clamp fooled me... again ~_~
I realised Saturday morning that the ladies from Clamp were fooling me since April. Yes, since the release of the Deluxe version of TRC volume 14 featuring Ryu-Oh.
When I first saw that cover I said something like "Oh! It's Ryu-Oh from the Outo Country" and let it be.
But I was WRONG!
Since the first Deluxe TRC volume, the character featured on the covers always wear their usual clothing. Sometime with some extra cape or ribons or jewelry when the aren't looking glamourous enough, but still their usual outfit. Even Ashura-Oh Jr who seems to have a unlimited wardrobe had clothings we already saw on him/her/it in the manga.
But not Ryu-Oh. That boy is a special case. Since the beginning of TRC, he is wearing chinese outfits even if he is originaly from a Indian setting, wearing poor looking cloths in Rg Veda. But in the TRC, is always an adept of chinese fashion. So I guess we can expect to see Ryu-Oh as a main character in TRC in a chinese world.
That would be exciting since there're so many Clamp characters having a chinese look. Nataku, Syaoran's family, Meiling, Wei wan, the twins form Miyuki-chan in Wonderland, Aska, ChangAn, SangYong from MKR, the SyaoMao chief and Tao Fua from Clover, Mao in Angelic Layer and so many more.
I hope the chinese setting is going to be next world. ^_^ And let's just hope that this time, Ryu-Oh will not be friendly for a change. ^_~
