Weight: 182 lbs. On Tuesday, after a bad eating weekend and piece of breakfast pizza during data day I weighed in at 184.5. We are starting another weight loss competition at work.
Workouts: Ha. Didn't do any.
Coping mechanisms: Been drinking on weekends, which leads to munching on junk food that we normally don't have in the house. Also, Girl Scout cookies came in this week. Not that I've opened any, but we had a bake sale at church last week and I bought a layered pumpkin pie. Dave has a dozen whoopie pies I bought him, but I only had 1 so far.
Dad: I don't know how honest everyone is being with me about stuff. And I don't know how that makes me feel. What I get is from overhearing bits of conversations, and from what people tell me when I'm not crying. From Aaron- "Dad thinks he's coming home." And from my mom- "They haven't talked about hospice yet." And from my dad- (after hearing Suze Orman reference hospice for her 90-something year old mom) "They talked about that for me." Some levels are starting to improve, which is good. I like it when I went to high school with her nurses, as I can get behind the screen and take notes on levels & get some answers.
Work: Keep on keeping on. The PSSAs are coming on fast. I LOVE my Hunger Games book club kids and I'm starting to get my other classes interested in their novels. I'm going to intersperse their literature PSSA lessons between their novel lessons. I just wish I had nice, loud speakers like last year. And I am done tutoring the expelled student. Such a weight has been lifted off my shoulders!
Stampin' Up!: Did okay for the quarter, hit a goal mark, but still need to plan another Sale-A-Bration event before the end of March for my customers. I wish I had more free time.
