Hi! I'm here at last :)

Sure you can understand at least 5 words from here: first they are talking about the criteria of choosing a role, it should move a person, make her work at herself and make a general impact at smb. That's as a high ideal, but M. had a number of good movies that had no influence on her. But it is the actor's responcibility and power, to make her part work, to wake reaction and responce from audience.

With her house and son in USA, Mira says it's complicated to have plays in theatre, sha had tough times filming "Turneja" with Goran Markovich, at the same time with Goran Gajich's "Vratiche se rode", "Lost" from time to time, and Marko going to school. Anyway she's going to play Cleopatra in Shakespeare's "Anthony and Cleopatra" in Washington D.C., and took this part without hesitation and thinking even 5 minutes, 'cause it's not time yet for losing ambitions and choosing easier life.

One of the actors once told Mira, their profession tends and means "to embrace the chaos" - it is complete chaos, no predictability, no stability, no logic, no continuity. But it is their way.
Something like that. (Sorry it's very HOOOT here, my brain is melting).

You're funny... yes, I think there were around 5 or 6 words I understood.

she's going to play Cleopatra in Shakespeare's "Anthony and Cleopatra" in Washington D.C.
Well, I did catch the Shakespeare and Washington D,C. reference and now I understand what it was pertaining to.

"to embrace the chaos"
As a matter of fact, I gathered what she was speaking of..... in an abstract way.

my brain is melting
It seems to be hot everywhere. My brain is fried. :D

Thanks for the explanation/translation!!!

Seems like my sense of humor is also melted away! I just meant, thank you Lingua Latina, and thank you Mira for the habit of using English words in speech, we can understand you better. Hehe.

Wish you a cool day!

Thanks for the translation! It's very handy having someone in the community that understands Serbo-Croatian. :)

Mira didn't happen to mention when she's doing the play in DC, did she?

Thank you :) I don't really understand everything 100%, now I have a trouble translating Mira's inros to "Vratice se rode" which I promised to do for flarn_chef - i'm stuck!! This interview is more or less OK.

No, unfortunately she didn't mention the terms.

What is the chocolate salami you are all talking about? ;)

Chocolate salami is a dessert confection that Flarn made one year for a convention... Mira is a chocoholic like us... we got her addicted to it.

Couldn't find anything in Google about Antony & Cleopatra in D.C., beyond their production in February, 2010. Perhaps she will mention it again in the future.

As a matter of fact, I made it 3 times.... Vulkon, ChillerCon and MegaCon.

selja26, chocolate salami is a Croatian chocolate candy that has almonds and candied orange & lemon peel in it; once rolled into a cylinder shape and sliced, the pieces look very salami-like.

Never say never...... who knows what the future might bring. Maybe she'll shoot a film in the Ukraine. ;)

I'm very sorry to say that, but everything is so BAD with film production in Ukraine, it hardly exists...
