Hmm yes, could be the necks of your teeth that aren't encased all the way in the gums, or that the enamel is thin or that you simply indeed have very sensitive teeth. As it was like that kind of sensation, only veeery focused, and then add to that the sensation of knowing someone is _drilling_ in your tooth >_<
I used to have issues with what in Swedish is called Afte, those sore whiteish bumps in the mouth that turn into achey blisters earlier btw, but once I started using Zendium toothpaste those are not bothering me anymore. My mouth overall is less sensitive too, although I still need to be careful eating very hard food or candy as it seems to somehow distress the mucus membrane in the mouth.
Scylla is still a bit too young to grasp that kind of timeframe, guess one needs to put more practical stuff as examples and keep telling her about. Like reminding her of how my mum for instance have had a painful teeth history about a year ago. There was a crack in a tooth that was not visible on dental xrays since it was masked by the split between teeth or something like that, so she took loads of painkillers for some time just to get through the day, and yet one dental person she saw thought she wasn't in enough pain, that it wasn't serious.. so go figure..
Eek, a life without sweets must be torture, especially seeing others have them. And yet to have overcrowned teeth by the age of 40, not a good equation still, no...
*nods* Maybe it has to do with the ever so infamous Jante law mentality..
Ouches... *cringes*
Reminds me, Jon's grandma had a titan screw attached to the jawbone and then some fake tooth attached to that. But I do wonder about the person that replaces _all_ their teeth like that.. then again, there are those that enjoy getting painful dental work 0_o
