Last night Air Force One landed at Kastrup Airport. Mr and Mrs Bush met the danish prime minister, walked like 100m to a "black hawk" nr One and flew to Fredensborg where they landed on the lawn behind the castle, walked 50m,met Queen Margrethe and Consort Henry and disappeared into the castle. Fredensborg is the queen's summer home.They have a pretty cool tradition there; prominent guest are to sign, not the guest book but a window with a diamond.(Clinton did that eight years ago)This tradition started more than 100 years ago so there are many famous signatures in the windows at Fredensborg.
This morning they left the castle by car to a Birthday breakfast for the president at the prime-minister's official summer home, Marienborg, 15 min ride away. Talk about security!The roads were totally empty and sealed off. At Marienborg they walked 25 m to the house. Now Bush and Fogh-Rasmussen are having a meeting while their wives are visiting a daycare center.This afternoon they are leaving for Scotland.
Bush is staying in Denmark 17 hours, walking about 300m on Danish soil and meets mostly American Secret Servicemen........
How do I know all this? Well, Danish TV is alert all day.
Oh, today I will get my kitchen-fan and maybe the dishwasher connected!Yeah!!
