Monday two weeks ago the contractors came and tore out my kitchen, and put in a new wooden floor. On Wednesday the new cabinets arrived and the guys got it in place in two days. So on Thursday when I got back after an evening round of golf I had a sink and my fridge and freezer was back in place but no stove,oven nor fan and dishwasher but they had left the apartment clean, it was a joy to come home.Then it was Swedish Midsommar which means a three day-weekend. We had a beautiful Midsummer eve, I had the traditional meal of herring/fresh potatoes and strawberry with mother and in the evening a neighbor and I went out to find a midsummer-pole to dance around . Well, we found a pole but now dancing so we went back to my balcony and shared a bottle of red wine and talked to midnight. The night was just wonderful and warm.(remember last year? Rain and cold...) On Sunday I played a golf-double tournament with a colleague.We came in number 12 of 60 which I think is ok.
The next day I had stiff neck and a terrible back ache....so no work for three days....on Wednesday the contractor showed up again and put up tiles, put in the machinery, except the fan, then they disappeared again. I had a meeting with my naprapat on Friday who found seven connections in my back that weren't right.But she knows what to do....!
In the evening I had BBQ with cousin Inger and her husband Anders and after that we went to Ribban Beach Party which means a lot of middle-aged people listening to rock music from the 60th played by middle-aged rockgroups.
