My reserch wasn't really about the sirens or even the Watchers I was reserching Rahab and Metatron for a story that (oddly enough) involved an Angel Posessing someone and a dead person taking over the body of a person in a veggitative state (I have to say that this week I'm glad that I have put the novel on hold)
The only book I have to hand today is Angels A to Z (yeah it realy is called that) I have no idea where I put the stack of Angel stuff I was using for that book... sigh*
As for His action... in the story of Rahab God crushes her (I'm using 'her' becasue the angels of the sea seem to have been refered to as female - I don't know that Rahab had a gender) under his foot for arrogence and violence - He kills her and chucks her into the sea. She seems to have to recovered and (even while Fallen)retreved The Book of Angels from the sea when *non Fallen* Angels stole it from Adam. So she was a FAllen who was serving God (at least at that point). I've been wondering if the Rahab story may be the basis for the Ruby chericter.
I also think that it is interesting that in Pardise Lost Azazel tried to get humans to help him find redemption.
