Q. In the past year or so, how many times have I offered/tried to take you out for dinner?
A. I don't know. I can't recall any planned offers I declined.
Q. How many times have you declined on account of being too busy?
A. I've declined when I have had a scheduled workshop or evening appointment. Inviting me out when I have plans posted on my website is a set up.

Q. After getting back from Poland, I stayed up late (while jetlagged and exhausted) waiting for you to get back from the New Moon thing. Were you on time? When you did get back, what did you do?
A. You told me you were going to bed early because you were understandably exhausted. I did feel disappointed but didn't complain because I know sleep is important. I said I'd be home around 10:30. I called the house around then to check in because I was behind in my bookings and had been scheduled to 11pm anyhow. When you didn't answer the house or cell phone, I concluded that you'd gone to sleep and that it wouldn't matter what time I got home. When I did get home, you were at your computer, the kitchen was messier than I'd left it, and you didn't greet me. I went to my computer and puttered until you grumpily got up to go to bed. Sometime later you told me you had waited up for me. How was I to know? It looked like you had stayed up at your computer with the kitchen a mess to piss me off and punish me. I often have misinterpreted your inconsideration as deliberate on your part.
