One of the things that stuck with me when I was undergoing management training with Wawa years ago:

The MAJORITY of people who QUIT their jobs, do so not because they dislike the work itself. Rather, they quit because they are DISSATISFIED with HOW THEY ARE MANAGED.

Per The Top-Ten Reasons People Quit Their Jobs:

Interesting, isn't it, that all ten factors begin with the phrase "Management…."

Interesting, too, is just how many of these high-turnover factors are preventable.
