Not at all necessary. The news seems to be all about their new toys lately. Like the big interactive touch screen map.

I LOVE the magic map. I want to play with it myself. Of course, they always talk about Pennsylvania, so I happen to enjoy it because I can see where I live. If they didn't ever drill down into my state, well, then I likely wouldn't think it was that big a deal.
