A Modest Proposal
I have been mulling over a possible petition to Parliament along the following lines:
We the undersigned call upon HM Government to partition the country into two separate states, one remaining in the EU and one independent from it, divided according to the general expressed will of the population in the recent referendum.
Since this would dump (at the very least) Cornwall, North Wales, Northern England and East Anglia into a nice little independent state on their own, quite possibly with Farage as supreme president for life, surely it would solve all of our problems. All I need is 5 email addresses of supporters and we can make a start on ridding our country of these turbulent priests, troublemakers. Are you in?
