WAIT....WTF KOREA TOO??!!
Well i don't know how start to express all the frustration i feel in this moment...it started as a rumor and only with the fact of reading it i felt panic.., it's not enough with one fandom already?? it's not enough with JE?? we have to download JE programs from korean fans
(like SC), from now on we have to download korean programs from japanese or chinese fans?? Don't you guys think this is quite ironic?? Why i'm saying all this?? because the new Korean law for copyright but this law is much more severe than the JE politic... as i said it started as a rumor but google's blog (www.techdirt.com/articles/20090528/0226545039.shtml) already makes moves about it, and it starting to become big... this is all i read about it, i cut the important parts:
REVIEW OF COPYRIGHT LAW:
Revision of Copyright Act: Effective as of July 23, 2009
1) Integration of Computer Program Protection Act and Copyright Act
2) Establishment of provision of protection for computer program within Copyright Act
3) Strengthening Preventive Methods of Illegal Reproduction on the Internet
- Temporarily close down within 6 months of individual ID to those repeatedly transmitting illegally reproduced work on the Internet;
- Halting community board services posting illegally transmitted work.

and what those 3 points means it means that with the new law:
it means that you can't upload a song by your favorite K-group or a picture of them either, it means that there are no more fancams from them and it means no more star kings, no more music core and no more music banks..
"The internet units of the country's three national television channels KBS, MBC and SBS jointly issued a warning to 79 peer-to-peer and ``Web hard'' online storage services they accuse of being the most severe copyright violators. From July, the country will enforce a new anti-file sharing provision that allows regulators to shut down web sites after a third warning over copyright infringement, regardless of whether or not the copyright holders complained about it."
That's making me think about what will happen with korean dramas??
and this will happen if you broke the law:
"According to the bulked-up copyright law, the government has the power to shutdown an online message board for a maximum six months after the site is warned for a third time to delete pirated content and prevent its movement. In addition to the ``three-strikes'' rule, Internet users who repeatedly upload copyrighted content without permission could lose their Internet accounts.
Defining copyrighted content is also a problem, as the concept not only includes movies, television shows and music, but also the articles of media organizations and even individual blog postings.
"The law could have the government shutting down not only major Web portals, but online message boards of smaller companies and even 'meta sites' that compile blog posts. And the member blogs of the meta sites could be interpreted as online message boards, too," said Sogumi, a popular blogger whose writings appear on Tatter Media (tattermedia.com).""

So if you uploads three times a song or a video in your blog your internet could be shutdown...wonderful...just wonderful..¬¬ ,, while i was posting and founding new information, the rumor becomes real so i don't now if the new law is going to scared the korean fans that much to make them stop of uploading tv-shows, songs, etc... i think we have to wait. but i don't know what is going to happen with us.. all the international fans if they stop.
