[ Jade is a bit slow to react to the shouting, still pretty out of it from her own episode. She looks exhausted when she enters his room, but that quickly turns to concern when the situation sinks in. ]

Gamzee?

[Other than a slow blink at his name, he doesn't seem to register her presence at all.]

[ She hesitates in the doorway, but not for more than a moment before she's hurrying to his side. ]

Gamzee? Can you hear me?

[miraculls]

[He slowly tilts his head towards her and immediately recoils in horror, seeing candy-red blood pour everywhere out of her cracked skull and blank dead eyes staring at him in accusation. It's his fault, it's all his fault, and look what a beautiful miracle we made, brother.]

Jade. Jade. Fuck, 'm sorry, 'm so sorry....

[frogst]

[ By now, this reaction shouldn't surprise her, and it doesn't, not really. For as many times as she's seen it, she still doesn't really know how to respond to it. She reaches for him, cups his cheek gently in her hand. ]

Shh, it's alright.

[miraculls]

[He stares at her blindly, breath coming harsh and fast as she screams in his ears, you did this YOU DID THIS and you motherfucking LIKED IT DIDN'T YOU--

In a desperate move, he tilts his head up and kisses her clumsily, hoping against hope that it'll somehow revive her.]

[frogst]

[ Jade seems a little thrown by this, but she returns the kiss, albeit somewhat hesitantly. When she pulls away she rests her forehead against his, holding one of his hands tightly. ]

Gamzee?

[miraculls]

[He pulls back, licking what he thinks is her blood off his lips. His face crumples when he's still met with the sight of her lifeless face.]

Oh. It didn't work.

[frogst]

[ She curls up against him, hugs him tightly and buries her head against his shoulder. ]

Gamzee, I'm fine, it's alright, everything's alright.

[miraculls]

[He flinches when her corpse falls on him, bright red blood soaking into his clothes, his hair, his skin, and a dark part of him revels in it. He can't get his arms working enough to push her off him, and he doesn't even want to - he killed her, just like Karkat said, so he has to be the one to live with it...and anyway, even a corpse is better than an empty room with just him in it.

There's something disturbing about that line of thought, but he doesn't pursue it further.]

Everything's okay, I'm right here. [ She doesn't know what else to do, just keeps talking and hopes that something will get through to him. ] Please, Gamzee.
