my first time...
in the morning, i slept 'til 9:30 (heehee lucky seniors :D), and the moment i signed on msn, jay IMed me and accused me of being late. "why?! isn't it supposed to be 10?!" "but you live far away!" haha, then had fun singing at erica's house for grad ceremony practice. i got putzer to sing on tune!! i'm proud of him. and putzer says, "Oh, of course, Ms. Lan. I am your eager and loyal student." :D
ate lunch at 和福 (sp?), the beef noodle shop, and 把 jerry 嗆掉 when i thought his food wasn't spicy at all while he was dying and sweating like a pig. then we met sarah, and we joined james and chiarng (james and his FMA craze) at erica's. we watched half an hour of rent, and then david's mom took david, angelaa, and mee driving!
so angela was really nervous on the car. and i told her the story about my dad taking driving class in america when his english wasn't that good. the driving instructor would say, "turn right." and my dad would say, "thank you." "turn left." "thank you." "go straight." "thank you." lol :D
so we first meet jerry, who just failed his moto test again. last time, he passed his written test with an 85 by guessing. he failed the "go straight" test. this time, he was supposed to ride to this place in 7 seconds, but he did it in 6. HAHAH XD so he still doesn't have his license. then, we meet david's instructor, who tells me and angela who our instructors are. david asks, "who's mine?" and he's like "那就是我!" so i meet my instructor, 曾紹洹, in car 70. so the first thing he asks me is "do you understand chinese?" so at first he teaches me to readjust the driver's seat before i start. then he teaches me to go straight (D) and backwards (R) and park (P). then he lets me try. when i get out of the car, i hit the car's ceiling. =.=||| so embarrassing. and then, i'm fine until he starts teaching me how to turn right and left. so he starts lecturing me about turning 半圈 (half circle) then 一圈 (one full circle) and then another half. he said i had to do it really fast. so i tried, and i couldn't really get it, so he got a bit impatient. and he took out this pack of beetlenut and started chewing, spitting it out, and throwing it out the window... and i was a little freaked out. then, he gave his pack to angela's instructor...
i was complaining about not being able to drive straight, and he laughed, "我也不知道你在想什麼..." and then i waved to frank cause he waved first. and my instructor was like... "不好好開車還跟別人打招呼!"i think he got bored, so he started asking me if all of us (henry, KL, jerry, angela, frank, david) were from the same class/school. then he asked which state i was going to. i was like, "北卡." he asked me what the full name of that was. "north carolina." then he started laughing 'cause he couldn't pronounce it. then he asked if i had any relatives there or if my parents were going with me. then he asked me who my relatives were and where they lived. i made it up: "my aunt and uncle live in san diego." and then he tells me he went to the u.s. for three weeks once. only to california and las vegas. all he did was gamble. XD
finally, he asks why im only taking 20 classes now even though i'm leaving late august. i told him i wasn't 18 yet, and he started laughing again. then he asked me, "what if you decide you dont want to take this when you come back during winter?" i was like... um i dunno, probably won't happen bah? and he was like "okay. i'll make sure to call you in january. and 摧你來上課!" i was like... uh i'll have jetlag! he was like...BS!
so when the hour was up, henry started complaining, "how come you got to drive in circles and everyone else only got to go straight and backwards?!" i was like eh dunno... he's like "老師偏心! BIASED!" i was like nuh uh! then he asked, "did you have AC?" i was like yeah... hen was like, "omg! what?! none of us had AC! we all had our windows down!"
