ORIGINAL FICLET: "Lionel Thinks"
Konnichiwa, minnasan, I hope everyone out there in Cyberland is doing well! The snow has started to melt again after the little flurry we had. Though I was glad for the moisture, I'm always happy to see the snow come and go as fast as possible.
I thought today I would post something a little unusual. I love my new BJD, "Lionel," a doll from the Korean BJD company "LeekeWorld." He is very inspiring and if I do NaNoWriMo this year, will feature prominently as an actual character and not a doll in that case. The tentative title is called "Illumine: The Dark Circus." So I've been taking photos of him and ended up doing a series that came out like a little short ficlet. I hope everyone enjoys and ja ne for now! =~.^=V
"Lionel Thinks" (An Original Ficlet)

AUTHOR'S NOTE: An idea in progress.
Lionel sits by the window of his spacious area and stares outside at the quiet snow beginning to melt into the withered ground. He has spent many days in the past few months sitting at that same window. Back then he did it to try and forget. Now he does it to try and remember.
The barest sound of the icy touched wind rattling against the windowpane catches his attention. He turns his head stiffly to see a shape moving aimlessly across the light smattered landscape. He isn't sure if it's actually there, he has seen far more than many people in their lifetime.
His head turns to look at his hands for a moment. His fingers are shaking and he can feel the tightness in his chest. He can hear his own voice begging to be let go because it hurts so much and the smile that accompanies it is vicious and cruel. He eventually gets away but not without the marks of savagery left on his flesh and his soul.
Then the tears come unbidden. Lionel covers his face and begins to weep. He mourns for those who didn't get free and he mourns for those who may still be there. But most of all he cries for the troubled detective that has become his friend and maybe something far more.
