Vaccines, Life and a Little Bit of Everything In-Between...
Konbanwa, minnasan, I hope everyone out there in Cyberland is doing well! First and foremost, to all my east coast friends, please stay safe with the on-coming "Irene." I'll keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. =^^=
I just got back from my yearly physical and aside from getting my prescription refills, they started me on my Hepatitis A & B vaccines since I've never had them. They stuck A in my left arm and B in my right arm. I get a B booster in one month and then A & B boosters in six months after that. Yay... My arms are pretty sore right now and I know they'll be even worse tomorrow but in least I won't have to worry about those two viruses any more.
I did win my "Official 2011 Comic-Con Ghoulia Yelps" doll from Ebay so I was VERY happy about that! She should be arriving tomorrow or on Saturday and I'm really looking forward to adding her to my collection. I think I'd also like to start collecting "Abby Bominable," she's such a kewtie and I love her blue skin! =^^=
I am still working on the next chapter of "Second Sight." Since this storyline has so many twists, I have to very careful to make sure that when it's time for the "final turn," there won't be any loose ends or plotholes. I had to go through the same procedure when I wrote "White." (Random: Since I saw Seungie's hair is platinum again, now I want to write the sequel!)
I decided just for fun to check out the anime "Azumanga Daioh." I've seen episodes here and there but never sat and really watched it. It was pretty amusing and I'll finish most of it tonight. I also watched the whole first season of "Princess Jellyfish," and that was fantastic. I'm not much for shoujo anime, but this one had enough comedy and drama to keep me interested!
Cosplay news, I'm planning on working on only one real cosplay aside from some Hime dresses. I've been wanting to cosplay "Seong Mina" from "Soul Caliber 4" for a really long time and I finally came to the conclusion that now was as good a time as any! I would like to see if I could find a couple more friends to do some of the other "Soul Caliber" characters and maybe have a group photoshoot.
My Steampunk group, "W.I.S.P."s are going to attempt to work at this year's "Fort Fear," our state's Premiere Haunted Attraction. Tryouts are next month and I think I would like to give it a swing. Perfect excuse to show off my character "Captain Standage's" creepy side. (Plus, I've got glow in the dark contacts, woot!)
That's about all for tonight. I'm getting pretty stiff in my arms so I'm going to take a couple ibuprofen and lay down. I don't have a day off until Tuesday of next week, so it's going to be a long few days.
