Thank You to My Readers!
Konbanwa, minnasan, I hope everyone out there in Cyberland is doing well! I now have two days off and I'm pretty excited. We're taking Pop out for his birthday tomorrow and then the rest of the family will be over Sunday for a small birthday party. I tease him because he's edging ever closer to the 60 year mark! XD
I randomly bought a "Victorian Maiden Beth" skirt on Ebay and it was shipped out today. I normally don't purchase Loli clothes any more but this little piece caught my attention for the amount of detail in the print. Recently for reasons even unknown to me, I've started to gravitate toward the "Classic Lolita" look. I think because it's much more mature and focuses a lot less on lace and frills and more on subdued color tones and quiet, intricate accents.
Anyhoo, my passing thought/muse for today was about why I write. It came to me today during a boring stretch of work. I was thinking about when my poetry got published by the National Poetry Society when I was still in my teens. That was really what began my love affair with writing.
But why do I do it now? Because, quite honestly, I enjoy writing for the sake of doing it. One of the other reasons is how happy it makes all of you, my readers. Couple those two forces together and it's very fulfilling.
So, thank you to everyone who's been reading my work, whether you comment or not. Because of that, I will continue to enjoy writing and I hope that you will continue to enjoy reading!
