Konbanwa, minnasan, I hope everyone out there in Cyberland is doing well! It's a New Year and it's very cold where I live! ::shivers:: I'll be glad when the Winter months fade into Spring once again!
A big thank you to the lovely March (
march_kyo) for giving me such a lovely present! I have two beautiful new handbags which I desperately needed, so I'm so happy! ::big hugs::
Also, on the cosplay front, I'm pleased to say that I'm almost completely done with Jeremy's T.O.P. outfit and only have a little left on my G-Dragon. It'll be fun to wear together and do the photoshoot. Should be a riot!
In the mean time, here's a little ficlet that came out of nowhere and I decided to jot down before it ate my brain. ::chuckles:: I hope everyone enjoys and ja ne for now! =~.^=V

Jiyong some times tells people he can see through walls. They laugh lightly with him but what he is saying isn't completely untrue. Some times he can tell what is going on in another room simply by the sounds that are being made. Thus, he is able to "see" through that wall.
He can also see through lies. He's very good at this because he's had plenty of experience lying himself. He can tell when people are twisting the truth by their expressions and their mannerisms. It's a useful tool to have in his line of work.
The young man also prides himself on being able to see past the many facades that people put on around him. He can see past the pretty makeup and curls of the girl's faces and the carefully placed smiles and sidelong glances of the men. He can see the people that lie scared and confused, despite their happy expressions.
However, Jiyong can't see through Seunghyun.
It frustrates him as much as it fascinates him.
Seunghyun hides perfectly behind a mask of practiced calmness and mild demeanor. He smiles when he's supposed to and frowns when he's directed. He pats everyone on the back and takes compliments with practiced gracious embarrassment.
Jiyong knows that this is not the real Seunghyun. He doesn't know how he knows, but he does.
He's seen glimpses of the real Seunghyun. It is at times when no one else is watching when the other's facade fades and all that's left is the real person beneath.
The real part of Seunghyun is terrifying and dark. He some times stares at Jiyong as if he's a mirror ready to be shattered, pieces thrown all over the floor and then picked up and held in hand until the palm bleeds.
Jiyong doesn't know if he dislikes these moments or relishes them. He feels as though he wants to run away and hide and another part of him wants to offer the other his wrists to see if he'll slice them open. He isn't sure if he wants to push Seunghyun away or curl up against him, waiting for his every command to spill from his lips.
All Jiyong knows is he can't see what's there completely. He half fears and half welcomes the day when he'll be allowed too because he knows when that happens, there will be nowhere for him to hide or go. He will know Seunghyun and he will understand true, unquestioned obedience.
And that promise of the frightening unknown continues to drive him to try and see what's just beneath the surface.
END.
