Konbanwa, minnasan, I hope everyone out there in Cyberland is doing well and had a wonderful Christmas Holiday!
It was a lot of fun for me, I got to spend the day with my family and enjoy the company of my two adorable little nephews. Sure makes the day brighter!
I thought I would share a little G-Top ficlet I had rolling around in my head before I wander off to bed. It came out of nowhere but I rather enjoy the moody atmosphere of the piece. I hope everyone enjoys and ja ne for now! =~.^=V

*****
Jiyong watches from the side of the stage. Seunghyun and he have just finished their performance of "High High" and he has finished his solo piece. He sees Seunghyun approach the stage from the opposing side.
There is a different expression on his face as the first thrums of his song, "Oh Mom" begin to fill the area. The fans are shouting their appreciation as Seunghyun speaks the opening in fluid, only mildly accented English.
But this is nothing to Jiyong because he is not interested in the song. He is only focused on how this song effects Seunghyun.
This is not the normal music his companion does. This is infused with something else, something melancholy, painful, dark, yet seductive and romantic. It reminds Jiyong of bitter tinged liquor and long forgotten tears.
Seunghyun is like serpent on the stage, slithering and moving with a grace of the venomous reptile. His words are fluent but sharp, honed to a fine edged blade already smeared with the virtual blood of the innocent watching him.
Jiyong isn't sure how he feels about this Seunghyun. This is not the one that everyone is familiar with. This is not the Seunghyun who teases Seungri or sits and gossips with Daesung or composes silly rhymes with Taeyang. This is the one below the surface. The one that spurned the bleaching of his hair and the donning of elegant suit under mismatched leather jacket.
Jiyong watches Seunghyun lean down toward the audience, his black eyes beckoning with unspoken promises. They offer pleasure and pain, one and the same, and it's alluring and frightening. It causes his heart to jump into his throat even as the guitars in the background sear up his spine with a matching sound of ectasy.
Seunghyun moves across the stage, light glittering off him like little diamonds and his sweat sparkles against his smooth skin. He side glances and sees Jiyong watching him intently. His lips curl upwards and a small sliver of sharp incisor can be seen just peeking between.
Jiyong feels the saliva catch in his throat. He feels his life force thrum in response and his heart beats rapidly in his chest. He doesn't know how to respond because he can't tell any more if it's desire or fear or twisted passionate mixture of both.
The last words spill out of Seunghyun's mouth and there is a level of anguish painted on his features. It looks as though the performance has purged his demon momentarily but the ache is still there, still hidden behind a slightly smiling face as he bows graciously to the audience.
He exits off the side he came in, moving quickly to hide himself from the world in his dressing room again. Jiyong remains where he is, not willing to move quite yet.
If he does, the spell will be broken and the Seunghyun he only gets to see during that one song will have disappeared.
And he doesn't know if he can risk seeing into him any further than that.
END.
