Meme: What's Your BOOM?
Konnichiwa, minnasan, I hope everyone out there in Cyberland is doing well! It's already been a long morning for me and I haven't even went to work yet.
My family will be watching my nephews starting tomorrow through Thursday evening. My brother and sister-in-law are heading to Denver for some conference meetings. It'll be fun to have them around for a little while! (Though I'm always glad to give them back. =^^=;;)
Anyhoo, thought I would actually make a little Meme for once instead of always stealing them! XD So I thought I would do a Meme based on current "BOOMs." The term BOOM is used by the Japanese to indicate your current trend/hobby/thing, etc. I thought it would be fun to find out here on LJ what everyone's current BOOMs are!
Make a list of Ten BOOMs (trends/hobbies/things) you are currently into and give the reason why you like them. Tag five people to do the same! Have fun with it!
10. The SiHan couple: For some reason lately, and maybe it's because of Hangeng's new song, I've been really obsessed with SiHan things. Siwon looks so lonely without Hannie!
09. Making crafts out of Sculpy Oven Bake Clay: I've been really having fun making minature dessert accessories, cell phone covers and jewelery out of Sculpy. It bakes fast and the results are always so pretty!
08. Making Bento Boxes: This has been a very fascinating new outlet for me. I didn't realize just how many different things you can make with food!
07. Colored Circle Lenses: I'm an addict for colored circle contact lenses. Right now I own Angelic Turquoise, Turquoise Normal and Glow-in-the-Dark Pink. I intened on adding a couple more pairs, perferably in Grey and a set in Black Out.
06. Planning the trip to Japan: It's been fun visiting different websites and just getting an idea of travel costs, sites to see, etc.
05. Polka Dots: I'm currently obsessing over everything that has polka dots on it for some reason. I think it's because of this really cute black with white polka dot hand bag that K got me for my birthday. Now I want everything to have polka dots on it! =^^=
04. Pink: I want lots of pink things. Shirts, skirts, pants, socks, doesn't matter. Just want it to be pink! (Perferably Pastel Baby Pink, but any is good!)
03. Baking Tea Desserts: This is so much fun! Desserts for tea are usually single serving and I can customize them to specific tastes and needs.
02. Fairy Kei/Spank! Clothing: It's wild, it's crazy, it belongs in the 1980's, but some reason, I think it's utterly adorable! Probably wouldn't wear it too often, but once in a while it would be fun!
01. All my wonderful friends here at LJ: All you guys are my BOOM, whether it's because of Ladybird's wonderful support, Imoutochan's sisterly love, LN's charmingingly sarcastic view points, Bunny's funny stories, Allison's POVs, March's brilliant video work or any of the other things you all do. I think it's all awesome and I love you all!
