I can't believe it's my birthday already. It certainly doesn't feel like it. I just got a letter from my parents, as well as their gift. Since I told them about cooking class the other day, they got me a cook book! It's filled with so many interesting recipes. Dad even threw in a few of his own recipes on note cards. Hee hee, that's so sweet of him

Your cookies smelled great! I walked by and couldn't help but notice... even though the entire room was completely covered in applestuff anyway. They probably taste really good, too.

Paula! It's a nice name. Aw, I'm fine! It's just a small puncture, and the burn will go away in no time. These bandages are doing the job well.

Really? Well, it wouldn't hurt to try, right? I still have candied apples left over. They're not too bad, but I bet they could have been better... Louie tells me to loosen up because I'm always so worried I'm gonna mess up. So I'll bring my dish, too, if that's okay... then we could have a taste of each other's!

You know what? We should suggest to Louie to have a day where everyone makes their favorite recipe and shares it with the others in the class. Wouldn't that be fun?
