22 ~ Graduation and prom

The graduation ceremony and dance were very lovely! I've never been to either before... Well, unless you count the homecoming dance a while ago. That was fun. And so was this time! Paula, didn't you go to Scarabia or wherever that place was? I thought Ness said you guys went there on a boat? From Summers?

That... wasn't exactly a cruise. E-especially the part with the Kraken...

I really hope not...

But I thought it was a pretty long boat ride? Isn't that what long boat rides are? Cruises?

No, not really. Cruises are really big boats which can usually hold hundreds or people. The purpose of a cruise is a sort of vacation, where the guests are pampered and allowed to do whatever relaxing thing that they want. There's usually games, a swimming pool, a buffet, a rock climbing wall, those sorts of fun things.

Climbing rocks is relaxing? I'd think that'd be sorta crazy.

Well, that's one of the more fun things to do. The more sporty, out doors people probably find that enjoyable. I've never done it before, so I can't really speak from experience.

From what I know, the climbers wear harnesses and there are professionals holding the ropes. The cruises probably wouldn't be allowed to have rock climbing walls if they didn't have the proper safety precautions.
