16 ~ Bad Luck?!
Oh dear, Friday the 13th! I definitely will be watching out for stray ladders and black cats. I may not seem like it, but I'm very superstitious. I get it from my dad. He would always freak out whenever there was a Friday the 13th. And for good reason! He always seems to get bad luck on days like that. Mom says he's just being silly, but I believe him. Thankfully I haven't inherited my dad's bad luck streak, but you can never be too careful. I always make sure to give a prayer or two to ward off the bad omens. That seems to work. If anyone is feeling down on their luck today, I'd be more than happy to give a prayer for you too.
I just hope today being Friday the 13th won't affect Valentine's Day tomorrow! I'm very excited about that, I don't want anything to go wrong. I can just image if my cards or treats for my friends suddenly disappeared! That would be horrible! No, no, I mustn't think like that. I'll just end up jinxing it or something. I'm sure tomorrow will be just fine. I'm looking forward to it!
