I should just label this post as all things Who-related and no things non-Who-related.

My last two posts were so somber and grown up-ish, that I've decided that this post will be completely non-somber. See, David is laughing in my userpic.

Non-somber point #1: Everyone's favourite (or most annoying) 51st century time agent/con man/alien/covert-alien-lifeform-tracker/giant face is baaaaaaaaack! But he's not Captain Jack Harkness, he's an evil baddie on Desperate Housewives!

Desperate Housewives is annoying most of the times, but I do find the suspense is intriguing sometimes. Now that Captain Jack's on it, and the fact that evil!Jack is a rarity to see (usually we see camp Jack, stern Jack, heroic Jack, sad Jack), I'm going to keep tabs on this season. We don't get it yet but we usually do after a few months of the U.S. airing.

Non-somber point #2: This is what an emotionally repressed alien looks like.

If you click at the original doctor_rose_fix link, and try saving the picture, you'll notice it's named "youshouldstillsayityouasshat". Yes, he should. Really. I love this community. ♥

Non-somber point #3: And on the same entry, I have found a new Who-fan theory I can follow well. With all my love of the Doctor (be it Nine or Ten) and Rose, I still want the new series with Eleven to go really well. But since I do not ever want Eleven to overshadow Nine or Ten, I hereby treat Eleven as some sort of spin-off. A very brilliant spin-off, with amazing stories and characters but still with The Doctor right in the middle. So I can still love it in all its (potential)brilliance while still retaining very very fond memories of Nine and Ten. THERE.

Non-somber point #4: I was rather impressed by the new Who trailer. Yes, very muchly so.

Yes, I am VERY IMPRESSED. (I think the gun-in-hand is probably a red herring type of thing, no?) This sounds more like the Doctor. Way to improve on the last one, BBC. Cybermen, Daleks, Weeping Angels, vampire girls, Star Wars-ish galactic battle. My hopes are restored!

Non-somber point #5: Matt Smith has a very rubbery face.

That must a young Amy Pond...That's how it's linking to her speech about time and space in the beginning of the trailer. The Eleventh Doctor has a very Nine-ish and Ten-ish urgency and youthfulness in his speech, which I like very much. BUT I DO NOT LIKE THE FACT THAT HE'S STILL WEARING TEN'S COSTUME. NOOOOOOOO. GET OUT OF IT, man. [/END OF SPOILERS.]

Oh dearie the exuberance on his face and his eagerness of sharing but not being allowed to for fear of spoilers! And he gives such awesome answers to what must already be pretty mundane repetitive questions that he's being asked by every single interviewer in the land. And he has only nice things to say about David. :D I LIKE. I'm excited for the new series. Two weeks' time!!!

tenth doctor is my favourite doctor, eleventh doctor is quite brilliant, doctor who, captain jack harkness does stuff, i ship ten/rose, trailers are exciting, johnny b is a laugh
