2nd Miracle (Dual Post)

Hrm. Does anybody know where I might be able to find any spare parts? Mostly hoping for something tech-wise. I've found a few places on my own, but if anyone knows a consistent place I could scavenge parts from, I would highly appreciate it.

As well, I shall state that if anyone wishes to, I am available for dueling.

The fastest and most potentially illegal route would be your average junkyard, babe. Parts are "essentially" free, but lack of clear selection is yer first major problem. And the cops if the Junkyard staff/owner is a particular dick.

Next option is if ya know someone who works with machines, if they can generally spare some of their unneeded scrap and shit and let ya have it. Not consistent and not clear selection, but more on the down-low and less jail time.

Alternatively, if you do commissions and shit for people, you can always keep excess parts to yer self, but that's monetary disadvantage.

Last option is to build it yerself, but that takes some work with metalworking. And proficiency with blowtorches, machines, and just banging shit together.

Or ya could always buy new parts, toots.

...A junkyard would be particularly troubling, wouldn't it.

...I suppose the current person who I'd be able to ask that of would be you, Shiyoko-senpai.. owing to your work on D-Wheels and the like.. i-if you have any spare parts, that is.

...I don't know about commissions. My inspiration comes and goes, and the stuff I usually like to work on probably wouldn't be of interest to anyone.

I don't have any metalworking experience. Most of the stuff I've done myself has been disassembling and reassembling machines my family already had, and I don't think I'd be able to really do that here too much.

Possibly, but there's always the worry I'm spending too much for myself.

Not if you know the right people and have the right rep.

I have some depots of shit that I keep around. Depends on what you know.

Well, commissions really help on a lot of shit and keep a cash flow coming in.

Take metal-shop class? Learn? You're kinda a newbie, aren'tcha?

Got to spend some time, babe.

I suppose. Neither of which I think I do, at this point.

Mostly electronics, some general machine knowledge... I've worked with moving parts before, but not in mass.

...Not sure what I could really commission for, Shiyoko-senpai.

...I might. When it comes to assembling, reassembling, and working with actual put-together paprts, I tend to do pretty well. Everything else isn't so great. I've tinkered a lot, but big inventions tend to be hard to grasp, for me.

I suppose. I just worry if I do spend too much.

I suggest working out.

Ah. Computers and shit. Hrm. Hard to say, computers aren't exactly my genius point myself.

... What do you build? I build people bikes.

So you need practice. Hrm. Maybe if I can get off of these papers some time and my boyfriend don't mind, maybe we can get together.

Why's that?

...I try to exercise.

Yeah, mostly electronics and the like.

Most of my experience has been in small little gadgets I made from some scrapped machines around the house, usually. Just little stuff that was occasionally useful.

...I'd appreciate and enjoy that, Shiyoko-senpai. Thank you.

I just don't want to feel like I'm being selfish. We make enough money, but I don't want to burden my parents with anything that's too expensive...

... How long and how often and with what.

Like I said, not my absolute strength. I'm mostly more strong with bikes. And astrophysics and shit.

... That don't really help, ya know.

Just point me to your pit, and we're good.

... Get your own income, dorkus malorkus.

...Few times per week, use for about a half hour to an hour, and... usually running.

I'd love to learn more how to work with those.

...I'm sorry.

I'm staying at Duel Academy's Ra Dorm, at the moment, so.

I'm not sure with what.

... Pft. You need to lift weights and change it up. If you don't, your body will ignore all your work and turn you into flab.

Not for amateurs. Gotta keep your hands at your sides.

So what do you build.

Oh ah. ... You work in your room. Must be a mess.

Commissions.

...Thank you for the advice. I'll be certain to try that!

...Alright.

Gadgets, little multi-function stuff sometimes. I build kind of a.. sorta pint-sized robot thing once. A lot of the stuff I like to build is hard to explain. It's really more 'showy'.

Quite.

...I'll try it, though I don't know if someone here as new as I am will get any attention.

Seriously, best regimen for a person is none, or at least keep cycling things in and out.

... So you sell to people who like gimmicky stuff.

I personally keep 2-3 depots myself, and only do sketches in my room.

There is always a market. Rule one.

Right, I understand!

...Heh, that could work!

I imagine considering you work with D-Wheels, that's probably a lot easier.

..Heheh, I'll think about it!

You never thought of this...?

Eh? Whatcha mean?

Don't think, learn, allow osmosis.

I never really thought about selling the stuff I made, really. I make it just to make it, usually.

Working in your room would be pretty impossible with the kind of stuff you do. D-Wheels and all that.

..Right.

Well, if it don't mean much after the making, I'd suggest selling.

... Pretty much, babe.

I'll definitely think on that. I'm not sure who's appreciate some of the showier stuff I can make.. but as you said, there's always a market!

I'd stuff love to see you work on stuff sometime. Let's get it set up.
