smiles always make me feel better in different ways. some people's smiles make me feel a little safer, or okay to be myself, or plain really happy. it's nice to remember people and remember what their smiles are like. it's surprising how we picked up these tiny careless snapshots of each other along the way of our lives so far. even as i find it difficult to smile about anything these days, these thoughts help keep the light on. i pray to be less disenchanted, for life to seem a little more charming.
