*happy spazzing too* Eeek, I'm so happy to get a compliment from you, and I'm glad that you liked this fic ♥ This is actually my first Suju one, so there's not much for you to stalk 8D;

Thanks~

You had me at Prufrock :)

This was interesting and I mean that in the best of ways. I'm a sucker for post-apocalyptic fic and this was bittersweetly unique. It makes me really want to know more about this universe. The last line was perfect.

Very nicely done!

I look for any excuse to quote Prufrock. :)

Thank you very much! I'm glad that the ambiguity was more intriguing than confusing.

wow. just... wow.

i am both blown away and speechless, and i just can't stop reading. some sentences just strike out so much that i have to keep reading around it to make sure i get the full meaning of it, and omg anon, whoever you are, i love you.

this is so creative and so wonderful - seriously, how did you even get this idea? - and you pulled it off nicely. very very nicely, and it's a bit ambiguous as well, but i like a bit of obscurity and that i have to read it again.

i've just finished reading it a first time (i took my time, to make sure) and i'm just going to reread it again because, idk, i just love this.

thank you so much, and a merry christmas to you anon. ♥

I'm so happy that you liked it! ♥ I wanted to write Hyukmin so much, but then Heemin ninja-ed its way into the fic and I ended up completely reworking the focus onto Heechul, ahaha.

I'm glad that the ambiguity works too! There's a lot of things that make sense in retrospect/upon rereading, and I was most worried about trying to build up the AU setting without confusing you to the point that it got distracting. I guess that the ambiguity fits the tragedy that no one really knew the fundamental reason for the animosity? 8D;

Again, I'm ecstatic that this fic lives up to your expectations, because, seriously, I love your fics so much! ♥ Happy holidays to you too~

oh my, i love this. the first ss fic i've commented to as well haha.

i've never thought of leeteuk/kangin/kibum until you mentioned it; and the last part, it was something i've never expected. and heechul, heechul, i felt really sad for him alone somehow.

:) Aw, thank you! This is my first Suju fic, so I guess we've both had our firsts, ahaha.

I'll take any opportunity that I get to put those three together because I miss Kangin and Kibum so much!

I really wanted to create a tragic feeling towards Heechul's finally realizing what he wants in life, but unfortunately doing so at too late of a time, so I'm glad that the message gets through, even though it makes me sad too.

wonderfully written. this is just...really awesome:) I love how everything was interconnected and then a third faction comes in and sadly, destroys everything that was being held together by threads:(

and everything's a little vague and confusing but really intriguing and just...WOW. absolutely brilliant:D

just a little curious though, what happened to Eunhyuk at the end? That was probably the only part I didn't really get and it's bothering me a little><

Wow, I'm really sorry for the late reply! I'm glad that you liked it, and your comments make me so happy :)

Also, sorry for Eunhyuk's confusing death (I was going more for 'tragic' than 'confusing,' ehehe). What happened was that Sungmin's vocal chords cracked like Ryeowook's did, because they were both feeling very strong emotions, except that Ryeowook lost control because of his frustration, whereas Sungmin was completely overwhelmed with happiness and love for Eunhyuk.
Since their powers come from being able to control what they harmonize with, and therefore control, when Sungmin's vocal chords cracked from his emotions, he lost control of what he harmonized with, and his voice vibrated at a high enough frequency to rupture Eunhyuk's cells and bring about his death.

Ah, I hope that helped rather than confused you more?

oh I get it now:))) Thanks a lot for that explanation!
Rereading it again, I'm really sad now that I understand why Eunhyuk died this way and YES it's tragic:(((
Anyway, thanks for this wonderful story again!
