Summary:Leeteuk takes Kangin for a wild ride

“This better not be scary…”
“Don’t worry Youngwoon, you won’t be scared as long as I am here.”
“Ya, Jungsu, I am not scared of anything, but I can’t help but think it will be terrible because of what you just said and this blindfold.” Kangin touched the blindfold on his face but his hand was smacked away quickly by Leeteuk.
“Trust your hyung.”
Leeteuk led Kangin through the park several times nowhere, just so he would think that they were further away from the ride then they actually were.
“Ya, are you going to let me go out with you if I don’t take this thing off, right, and not once talk about that four letter word.”
Leeteuk did really want to date Kangin, but Kangins reasons were shallow, and Leeteuk was very much in love. He tried to bring it up, but Kangin told him he was being selfish and that a lot of people liked him so Leeteuk shoudn’t want for them to together exclusively. It was always some reason like that.
“Yes, of course I said I would.” The only way for Leeteuk to get Kangin to agree to being blindfolded was to promise him a date, just a date. Leeteuk was sure though, that his master plan would work.
He could only think of two things Kangin was afraid of, love, which he acted like was an inconvenience and a waste of an emotion. The other thing though was something that Leeteuk found out by chance when Kangin was drunk. He was afraid of high places, very high places. Leeteuk loved the rush, because it felt very much like being in love. He decided that if Kangin overcame his fear of falling from a high place his fear of falling in love would also disappear.
Leeteuk walked around a bit before standing in line at the biggest freefall ride in all of Korea. He covered Kangins ears with headphones so he wouldn’t hear the screaming of the people dropping. The ride only seated two people at a time but luckily for Leeteuk the line was short. Leeteuk spit some water lightly in Kangins face and made a woosh sound so that he would think they were going on a water ride.
“Teukie I love water rides…”
“Oh no, it is uh…a tilt a whirl not a water ride.” Then Leeteuk remembered Kangin couldn’t hear him.
Kangin had a satisfied grin on his face, the “I know what is going on but I will play along” look. Leeteuk smiled and pulled Kangin into the seat of the ride. As the ride was moving up Kangins smiled fading, “Where is the water..?”
When they were half way up the ride Leeteuk removed Kangins blindfold and headphones. Leeteuk was grinning. “Are you okay.”
Kangin looked over the edge and the closed his eyes tightly “It is going to let us down slow right?” Leeteuk shook his head and looked sad at Kangins terrified face. Kangin started to look around trying to find an escape, then pulled out his cell phone there was no service. Kangin was panicking.
“Ya,” Leeteuk pulled Kangins face to him and kissed him softly. Kangin kissed back but then forgot the moment of bliss when they reached the top. At the start of the fall kangin jumped on Leeteuk holding him in a death grip, he was so scared that by the end of the ride he had blacked out.

Kangin woke up in the hospital. He looked to the wall two days had passed since the ride. That was the scariest moment of his life. He was surprised that he didn’t see Leeteuk, by his bedside. Aish… Little coward.
“Oh Kangin you are up..” It was Yesung, he looked terrible, and walked over to him and held his hand.
“I will kill Leeteuk for doing that! Aish” Kangin was pissed as hell he was practically forced on the ride.
Yesungs looked uncomfortable. “Kangin…Leeteuk is dead.”
Kangin laughed, “This is a joke, he isn’t getting out of it. I can picture him, ‘When Kangin wakes up he is going to kill him! So don’t let him know where I am tell him I died’ Some crack story like that.” He shook his head and stood up, letting go of yesungs hand
“Kangin… ” Yesung grabbed Kangins hand and led him to the window of his room. “Look.” Kangin smiled and looked out the window, his smile fading immediately. Outside there was a wave of flowers and pictures of Leeteuk, behind the flowers, there was a wave of people holding candles. Kangin was reminded of what he saw on TV for Princess Diana in 97 on a much smaller scale of course.
“How..? ”
Yesung looked down, “He broke his neck, the doctors think you grabbed him too hard on the ride and snapped his neck.” Yesung looked away from Kangin and walked back.
Kangin brought his hand to his mouth and collapsed, “I killed him…”
