Summary: Each of their thoughts are like pieces of one puzzle. iI only they could get together and try to fit each part, maybe they can see the bigger, clearer picture and spare some of them the hurt.(I tried, really!)
A/N: I wrote this fic almost a year ago and only had the courage to post it now. Hope you guys like it!*fingers crossed*
he has known donghae for a really long time now. much longer than any other member. he remembered how they spent time just goofing around with yunho. at first, he saw donghae as just a playful little brother. he was always protective of him. fans even point out how he was unfair to other members because all he cared about was donghae, not even interacting with the others. he doesn't remember when he started to really love and care for him. it made him happy inside to know that donghae loved him too. he felt his heart being filled with his love when they surprised him for his birthday on super junior fullhouse, then donghae reading a letter for him. a letter filled with love and childlike honesty, a trait he loved about him the most. every little thing he does are just all so endearing to him.he always regarded him as one of the most important people in his life, as a part of his family.
he also doesn't remember when he started to slip away from him. maybe it was the time when he was too busy with his acting jobs and can't perform with suju more often. or maybe the time after the accident, when he really can't perform, as much as he would want to. but he slipped away, moving into shiwon's arms. they don't talk about it. it seems like an unspoken rule between them. they're still together, but he knows that donghae sometimes goes to shiwon, to be wrapped in his arms. donghae and shiwon knows that he knows too. but they don't seem to care. they think that it's okay for him since he doesn't say a thing about it. come to think of it, it was never in his nature to shut up about things that irk him. he always, ALWAYS speaks his mind. and his silence, in this situation, may mean that he's okay with it. is he really okay with it? he asks himself this question often too. and he realized that he is. if it's the only way he can keep donghae, then he will shut up.he fears that if he speaks his mind about it, he may lose donghae forever.and he can't bear to lose him. not now, not ever.

kibum hates donghae for being cute and getting away with anything. he hates him for being heechul's top priority on everything. but he hates him more for taking heechul for granted. he knows how heechul loves donghae, and how it pains heechul to not always be with him. it wasn't his fault, in the first place. heechul believes in grabbing every opportunity that comes his way, and he can't say no to the projects being given to him. kibum knows because he does it too. it's also not his fault that he's involved in an accident and can't perform with suju as much as he wants.that's why donghae can never justify his affair with shiwon. heechul has remained faithful to him all throughout their relationship. even when minki flirts with him on the set of rainbow romance, kibum sees how heechul always responds playfully but draws the line if it gets too intimate. at the end of the day, all heechul can think about it going home to donghae's arms.
it breaks his heart everytime heechul would come running in his room, crying, because donghae went out with shiwon again. he doesn't understand why heechul puts up with it and keeps quite all through these. he always speaks his mind, even with the tiniest thing, but not with an issue as big as this. he may never understand, but he'll always be here for him. even just as a friend. but one day, he still hopes heechul can see him through lover's eyes, replacing donghae, and healing all the pain he's ever been through.

shiwon feels guilty. he know this is a wrong way to get revenge but he can't help it.
he loves donghae, he really does. but not the way he loves heechul. donghae is more of a bestfriend to him. someone to go to when you want someone who can try crazy things with you. being with donghae is always fun, filled with laughter and never a dull moment. he never meant to use him to punish heechul for rejecting him. but it happened. he noticed how dull donghae was when heechul wasn't around especially when heechul got involved in the accident. he missed donghae's laughter, always filling up the room. he missed the pranks he would pull on them on and off the camera. he seemed like a lost kid without heechul. so he tried making him smile, and being donghae, it was a lot easier putting back a smile on his face than taking candy from a baby. it was that easy, but he was the only one who attempted it. the members thought that leaving donghae alone would be enough and that he'll find something fun to do by himself when he gets bored. watching american movies was the first step to it, learning english with him was another. in time, they found themselves getting more comfortable with each other. And companionship led to another thing. he found himself filling in for heechul's absence. not that he minds. donghae was really a person who's easy to love. then heechul came back. he thought their happy days were over. knowing heechul, he'd be firing him up with nasty words for taking donghae away from him. but he didn't. he just let everything be. he knows heechul is hurting, he can see it in his eyes. but he can't let go of donghae either.
donghae has brought him many smiles, and he can't bear to part with it now. he has the right to be selfish too, right?

They always thought his affection for the older boy stems from the fact that the latter was the established band umma.
They always assumed that he needed to be taken care of and that he loved the fact that “umma” dotes on him.
What they do not know is how he loves to take care of the one taking care of everyone.
Eeteuk was not as strong and responsible as everyone assumes him to be.
He’s as fragile as a child, easily broken by petty things.
And Donghae is the one who mends all of it.
He was the one who stayed by his side when things between Kangin and Eeteuk were rocky.
He comforted him and made sure he wouldn’t do unnecessary things to himself.
He made him smile as best he could.
Although he knew that each smile Eeteuk gave him was a mask, hiding the feelings he kept bottled up.
Afraid that Donghae might worry more if he sees him cry.
No one understood Eeteuk more than he did.
He loves Eeteuk dearly.
And he hates the fact that Kangin is always between them.
He hates Kangin for hurting Eeteuk.
He hates Kangin even more for being the reason behind Eeteuk’s smile.
