SiWon didn’t know what happened. All he knew was that he has a sad HanKyung in his arms. It just felt good with someone being here…even though it was pretty depressing that his hyung was like this. It was also raining -like woah- and neither seemed to care much about the prickling feeling from the hard drops. Sobs and quiet cries of sadness were soaked into the younger boy’s coat. Sounds of the prickling rain were resounding with random chattering from afar.
Using one hand, the slightly taller boy brushed his hyung’s hair a little, holding onto him like a dear friend who was about to go away forever. Quiet hushes came out of his lips…trying to settle the Chinese boy down. “It’s going to be all right…” was the only phrase that could come out of his mouth without saying anything to cause more tears.
With more quiet shushes, HanKyung calmed down in a few minutes, releasing his hold on the taller boy and wiping his eyes a little. Looking up at the younger boy, he saw a gentle smile of concern that just touched his heart. He never knew that this boy was so caring. He didn’t even know why he went into his arms out of all people. His opinions about him seemed to clear up a little more.
“What happened…?” was a question that couldn’t be kept to himself, wanting to know why someone he absolutely…fell in love with…was crying his eyes out. HanKyung’s eyes seemed to turn glassy again, and he turned his head away from the Korean boy. Refusing eye contact was something that was never considered an answer on SiWon’s book.
“Look at me,” was all SiWon could remember saying in Mandarin towards the other boy. Taking his hyung’s head into his hands, he made the other boy face him with a stern look. His face softened at the emotion that was flaring up in the other’s eyes, overcoming sadness rushing through the glassy eyes. He leaned his face towards the Chinese boy’s, both of their noses touching. With no self-control, SiWon kissed away the tears that were falling. Well, he thought they were tears; it was hard to decipher rainwater from tears through sight.
HanKyung was in a state of ‘what the hell’ as he felt lips brushing away his tears. He wanted to be uncomfortable about the situation, but he couldn’t help that this dongsaeng of his was abnormally caring in his eyes. The lips against his skin…it wasn’t a bad feeling at all. When he felt the lips moving away, he heard a mutter of “I’m sorry” and all contact with SiWon was gone.
Thinking back about his confession with YoungOon earlier, his heart breaking into two, his realization about how his assumptions were true about YoungOon and JungSu…all the events just reeled in his head. Blanking out and thinking about how much he loves KangIn with all of his heart…there was something missing from that. He knew that deep inside his thoughts, YoungOon wasn’t the person he was looking for after all. With JungSu, both were an inseparable item, never meant to break at all.
His body felt cold with the other’s warmth, realizing there was no time to be pondering about the past. If he let this opportunity go, he might never feel that warmth surrounding him again. Never mind about his confession…he was going to set his future straight with or without his past feelings. He brought himself back to reality and noticed that SiWon wasn’t in front of him at all. He could barely see the retreating figure walking in the dark night way ahead of him.
Energy suddenly going through his legs, he felt himself running towards the direction of the younger boy. Without any true motive, he didn’t stop himself from running. One second…two seconds…three seconds…he felt his lungs shouting out to the Korean boy, “Wait!!”
As SiWon turned around to look at the running figure, he felt the same arms from earlier returning to his shoulders once again. He froze at his place, and he heard HanKyung speaking into his coat about apologizing for something and some sort of reverie that the other was having. It was kind of hard to hear a muttering and crying HanKyung incoherently speaking.
Lifting the other’s face again, he spoke to his hyung saying, “Don’t speak yet.” Taking a look at the older boy’s face, his unemotional face started glowing with a soft smile at the other. His hands were cupping the Chinese boy’s cheeks, wiping away the tears that were spilling and threatening to drop from his eyes. He took an opportunity to place a soft kiss on HanKyung’s forehead.
HanKyung never felt so loved like this before. He fought against the urge to cry some happy tears. Just being in the Korean boy’s arms made his day a whole lot better. Muttering an apology against SiWon’s ears, he heard the other boy speak to him.
“There’s nothing for you to be sorry about…Hannie.”
The rain continued pouring, and soon enough, it started lightening up with the starry sky glowing with their might.
