[Excerpt] It was at that moment that I felt a small disturbance somewhere along my surface. Something was carefully prodding me and testing the waters. Usually, nothing was awake outside of my sea at this time in the middle of the night. I feared the worst; more people dissecting me and analyzing my every shake and stir. I rushed to find the source, my gentle waves starting to twist and turn with my agitation.
Upon a small shore in a distant corner of my being, a man was slowly walking into me. He was clad in nothing but his boxers, clothes discarded in a trail that led to the water he was now immersing himself in. I eyed him warily, trying to decipher his reasoning for interrupting my perfect balance this late at night.
He waded further and further into the water, eyes closing slowly just as the moonlight hit him. His pale body gleamed a pure white that was subtly reflected in the rippling water, and his straight blonde hair shone just as brilliant.
