I have a high-pitched voice. When I go on, say, TeamSpeak or Skype to talk with friends online, the first thing they tend to comment on is "wow! you sure have a squeaky, high-pitched voice! You're like some kind of... squeaky cartoon mouse!"
If I earned money for each time I was told I sound like a squeaky cartoon mouse, I would have at least 5 bucks.
But today, my family members were teasing me and joking around and such, and when they stopped...
I sounded like Mickey Mouse. No exaggeration, there. Now, I can make my voice go up to that high of a pitch. But it was up there without even trying. I had to make an effort to make my voice sound normal!
So: imagine, if you will, my walking around my house going "OH MY GOSH MY VOICE IS SO HIGH PITCHED I CAN'T EVEN STOP WELL I CAN when I try to BUT I HAVE TO TRY REALLY HARD I CAN'T EVEN BELIEVE IT I SOUND SO SQUEAKY LIKE MICKEY MOUSE OR SOMETHING SERIOUSLY WHAT IS GOING ON"
It was... kind of awesome, in retrospect. But while it was going on, I was too busy freaking out about the fact that I SOUNDED LIKE THE SQUEAKIEST OF CARTOONS EVER OH MY GOSH.
All said and done, there is nothing I would rather have happen to me when I am stressed.
