Infinite Summer: prologue; some other stuff
I started this journal one summer when I re-read The Lord of the Rings, then turned it into a kind of review blog, and then I wandered over to Wordpress, and who the hell knows what happened then.
Well, this summer I'm reading David Foster Wallace's Infinite Jest, and I'm doing so in the company of a lot of other people over at Infinite Summer. I'll post here at least once a week -- I'll be following the schedule posted over at Infinite Summer:

I have to admit that I'm really excited about this. I picked up Infinite Jest when it first came our, read the first dozen pages, and hastily returned it to the stacks. But I think with the help of the Infinite Summer crew, and with having a schedule, maybe I'll make it through this time. I hope so!
