On another note,
I've been meaning to ask for a few days, but haven't yet. My cousin Kurt (he was the red-headed usher at our wedding) is in the hospital. He went in last week when he started experiencing pain in his arm. It turned into paralysis and he's paralyzed on the left side of his body and partially on the right (he can move his right arm up to his eyebrows and wiggle his toes on his right foot). They're saying it "could" be permanent, but they still don't know what it is. What is this with all the people I know having mysterious illnesses?! Grrrr!!!!
Anyway, just pray for him. He's pretty depressed and he was before this happened. They're gonna start therapy and stuff for him to perhaps become more self-sufficient and he does have good muscle mass and he's young...all good things. He also is able to feel when they give him shots and he can tell when he has to go to the bathroom even if he can't control the muscles to go by himself. It's just overall pretty strange. He's only 22. I hope and pray he doesn't have to stay like this forever. He's a great guy.
