Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Nichkhun was woken up by an angry Junsu. He was standing near the bed, wearing his black sweats and tank top and holding onto a large, plastic mixing bowl. “Who did this?”
His voice was low and groggy, but the seriousness was still there. Nichkhun didn’t answer him as he reached over to his nightstand, grabbing his phone. He unlocked the screen to check the time, slightly regretting it as his eyes got blinded by the blue light. It was seven o’clock. Nichkhun grunted, placing his phone back down on the nightstand and rolled over towards the bundle next to him.
Junsu shot rays in the back of Nichkhun’s head and he felt them. Yes, maybe he did brought out the precious mixing bowl that was Junsu’s pride and joy to help Wooyoung and maybe, yes, him and Wooyoung accidently cracked it last night, because Wooyoung grew a year. But he could've at least waited six more ours to before spazzing over it. What the heck do he have to use it for so early in the morning? He let out a sigh. Junsu wasn’t leaving. Nichkhun turned back around and looked up at Junsu.
“Sorry....”
“Sorry? That’s all?! Nichkhun this is my favorite mixing bowl. You know I like to bake!”
Yes, Junsu bakes. Surprise? Don’t be. He learned because of Chansung’s greediness. In fact, we all learned to do some sort of cooking, because of our maknae.
Nichkhun let out a sigh and rolled himself out of the bed lazily. He placed a hand on Junsus shoulder and stared at him. “Look, Woo had an episode, well if you call it that, last night and we accidently messed up your bowl. I’ll buy you two more bowls later.”
Junsu gave him a puzzled look. “What happened to, Wooyoung?”
Nichkhun glanced over at the bundle still fast asleep. Junsu followed his gaze and walked over towards the bed. He grab at the edge of the blanket and yanked the blanket off of Wooyoung.
“Wow,” was all Junsu could say as he stared at the older Wooyoung.
He threw the covers back over him and looked over at Nichkhun with a pout. “I really wanted to bake cookies.”
Nichkhun yawned, ignoring his hyung, and went back over to lay in his bed. He wrapped himself back in the blankets and looked
up at Junsu. “Sorry...”
He closed his eyes and went back to sleep. Junsu nearly took the broken mixing bowl and wacked him on the head, but he let it slide. His mind wondered on about Wooyoung’s condition. Just what was he?
+++
Wooyoung was burning up, but it wasn’t because of his condition. He opened his eyes and saw Nichkhun’s face above his. Nichkhun was hugging him. Wooyoung stared at him for a moment, before hitting him hard in the head. Nichkhun quickly sat up with a yell. Wooyoung covered his hands over his mouth as he started to laugh.
Nichkhun glanced down at his little monster and thump him on the forehead. Wooyoung instantly stopped laughing and began rubbing his forehead. “Ouch. That wasn’t nice.”
“Neither is hitting me.”
Nichkhun picked up his phone and unlocked the screen, loving the fact that it read 11:00 A.M.. He shuffled out of bed and turned to look at Wooyoung. “We woked up at the right time. I smell breakfast.”
Wooyoung let out a yawn and shuffle across the bed to get out, when a thought came across his mind. He tilted his head down as he slipped off the bed. “I need pants....”
Nichkhun looked down at the embarrassed Wooyoung and smiled. He walked over towards his closet and found a pair of his black boxers. He walked back and went to his nightstand and open up the drawer, looking for a rubber band. Finding it, he closed the drawer and gave Wooyoung his boxers. “Put these on.”
Wooyoung did and pulled them up to his waist. Nichkhun squatted down and lifted up Wooyoung’s shirt and grabbed the waist band and used the rubber band to tighten the boxers. Satisfied, Nichkhun stood up and picked up Wooyoung along the way, placing him in one of his arms. Wooyoung gave Nichkhun a glare, but Nichkhun ignored him and started to head towards the kitchen.
The other members were already sitting at the bar, waiting for the pancakes and eggs and bacon to be finish by Junsu. Junho was the first person to noticed them and smiled at them as they made there was to sit at the end of the bar. Nichkhun placed Wooyoung down in his lap.
“Whoa, Wooyoung did you grew?” Junho yelled, pointing at him. Chansung and Taecyeon turned to look at Wooyoung.
Wooyoung nodded softly and pointed at Nichkhun. “His fall.”
Junsu started fixing the members plates and passing them down. Junho stood up and went to grab enough cups for everyone to pour some milk into them. Once done, he placed the milk back into the refrigerator and went back to his seat which was between Chansung’s and Junsu’s. Junsu passed out the utensil’s and condiments before sitting down to get ready to eat.
Nichkhun picked up his fork and cut a small piece of Wooyoung's pancakes to feed him. Wooyoung pouted, not liking the thought of Nichkhun feeding him. But Nichkhun was stubborn and didn’t let up until, Wooyoung opened his mouth. Wooyoung felt Nichkhun chuckle a little as Wooyoung accidently let some syrup drip down his chin. Nichkhun took his thumb and wiped it off and then stuck his thumb in his mouth. Wooyoung saw this and his face heated up. He tilted his head down and grab a fork and attacked his eggs. Nichkhun looked down at him and smiled.
“So what exactly did Nichkhun do that made you like that?” Taecyeon spoked up.
Wooyoung looked at him and wasn’t sure how to answer it, but Nichkhun did.
“Oh, all I did was--”
“Bounce with me, Bounce with me~”
Wooyoung’s ringtone interrupted Nichkhun, and Wooyoung was glad.
“My fone.” Wooyoung mumbled, squirming to get out of Nichkhun’s lap.
Nichkhun scooted back and placed Wooyoung down o the floor. Wooyoung quickly patted his way to the living room where he heard his ringtone and found it on the coffee table. He unlocked the phone and answered it. It was his mother. A light beemed up and a figure was seen staring down at a huge, old brown book.
“Mom?”
Wooyoung’s mother lifted up her head and smiled at her son. “I know the spell they put on you.”
“Mmm?”
“Well, as it says here. You are under the Midnight Kiss spell. I’m not sure why anyone would put someone under this spell. It’s quit troublesome. Anyway, to get rid of it, you have to be kissed at midnight until you grow into your full age. Then the spell would be cleared. It doesn’t say where you have to be kissed, but it does say that whoever kisses you first is the only one who can keep kissing you. Strange, eh? Also if you miss a day, it doesn’t seem to be any consequences.”
“Oh my god, he kissed you?!” Junho yelled.
Wooyoung turned around to see a wide-eyed Junho staring at him. “Not like that!”
“Omo, my son got kissed! Who’s the lucky guy?” His mother yelled happily.
Nichkhun pushed passed Junho, who stood frozen, and kneeled down next to Wooyoung. “It’s me, Ma’am.”
“Aish, you’re so cute. I approve!”
“Mom!” Wooyoung screeched.
“What, honey? I’m just saying.”
“Ugh!” Wooyoung yelled, rubbing at his red cheeks.
Taecyeon started to laugh at Wooyoung’s frustration and Wooyoung gave him a death glare. He quickly shut up and went back to eating. Chansung noticed Junho’s empty seat and took his plate and started eating from it. Junsu took his plate with him, so that Chansung wouldn't eat it, as he slipped off the stool and headed towards the living room. He pushed the stiff, Junho towards Wooyoung and Nichkhun and sat down, pulling Junho with him.
“Oh, you have such cute friends.” Wooyoung’s mother smiled.
“Thank you, Ma’am.” Junho and Junsu responded.
“Um, Umma?” Nichkhun spoked up. “Do you know what Wooyoung is?”
Wooyoung gasp, realizing that he still needed to tell them. He looked over at his mom, who was thinking if she should mention it to his friends.
“Well, of course I know, silly. I birth that bad boy.”
“Can you tell us? Wooyoung said he would tell us, but he’s being reluctant....”
“Nu-uh!” Wooyoung yelled.
Nichkhun, Junsu, and Junho looked at him as if he was stupid. Wooyoung looked away from them and pouted.
“Well, since he’s here, I don’t mind saying. I do think you need to know.” Wooyoung’s mother spoked up. “For starters, I’m not a normal human.”
Wooyoung’s mom began to smile as she grasp on his friends’ attention. “I’m a witch.”
“A witch?” Nichkhun mumbled.
“Yep, but not like the witches the humans made up. I mean do i look ugly?”
Nichkhun shook his head no. Wooyoung’s mom definitely wasn’t ugly. She had fair skin and maybe a little on the plump side. She didn’t even have gray hair. It was all pure black. Over all she looked like any other mother
“So, you can cast spells on us and stuff?” Chansung said from the bar, not believing her words.
Wooyoung mother turned to the right, trying to see who said that. She clapped her hands and blue light outlined her hands. She twirled a finger in the air and all of a sudden, Chansung let out a yelp. Taecyeon fell off of his stool as he stared up at a floating Chansung. Chansung was maneuvered over towards the others and dropped down in Junho’s lap. Junho let out a grunt from the new weight, but didn’t push him off of him. Chansung along with the others stared at Wooyoung’s mother in fright. She twirled her finger one more time and this time Taecyeon ended up floating over towards the group and dropped down in Junsu’s lap. Junsu, unlike Junho, pushed Taecyeon out of his lap.
“I can do a lot with my experiences. So don’t think I’m joking.”
The members nodded their heads simultaneously, Wooyoung palm faced his face and let out a sigh. He didn’t want them to be afraid, but his mother definitely messed that up.
“Okay, so Wooyoung’s half-human, half-witch?” Nichkhun spoked up.
Wooyoung’s mother busted out laughing. “Oh, no dear. Though the only close thing he has to be a human is because of me.”
“Okay, so what is his dad then?”
Wooyoung’s mother laughter died down. “Do you think you can handle it?”
Nichkhun gulped and nodded his head.
Without hesitation, she answered. “His father is a demon. Not just any demon, but the lord of the demons. You know, the big boss.”
Nichkhun tilted his head to the side and looked over at Wooyoung. Wooyoung bit the bottom of his lip and looked down. She wasn't lying.
“A demon....” Nichkhun mumbled, trying his best to grasp the situation.
“Mhm, but it’s not like we’re together anymore. After Wooyoung was born he wanted to invade heaven, so I locked him away with Wooyoung’s help, but I forgot about his stupid lacky’s. They were the one’s that made Wooyoung like he is and so it seems like there is a witch with him too. They probably are trying to free him if they went to these extremes. When we locked him away, I gave Wooyoung the key and the stone to the lock that is trapping his father. What his father didn’t expect is that even if they do get the chance to get the stone, he still won’t be able to open it.” She smiled on that thought.
“Why is that?” Junsu asked.
“Oh, because he’s going to need the stone, the key and Wooyoung. The stone is shaped like a pentagon, representing the five chains that is keeping his father on hold. Once the stone is position onto the lock, there is a spot for the key, that Wooyoung still has with him. But even if he gets the stone and the key, that lock won’t budge since that lock has Wooyoung’s magic. Basically it needs Wooyoung’s magic to respond with his magic that is already there to open it. But his father doesn’t know that, but I doubt it will take him long to figure it out so you guys just need to worry about lifting that spell off Wooyoung.”
“Is there a faster way?” Nichkhun asked.
“Not that I can find. When I told you this spell is troublesome, I meant it.”
Nichkhun nodded in agreement.
Wooyoung‘s mother looked towards her son. “Wooyoung, honey.”
Wooyoung lifted up his head and stared at his mother. “Ne?”
His mother smiled brightly at him. “Saranghae.”
Wooyoung smiled back at her. “I lob you too.”
He hung up his phone and let out a sigh, turning around to face the others. “Um....”
Before he could say anything else, Nichkhun reached out and pulled him into a hug. The others join in as they gave their little Woo, a group hug. They released him and Wooyoung just stared at all of them with a surprised look on his face.
“Woo, you definitely could have told us who your parents are.” Nichkhun smiled down at him.
“Yep, even though your mom can be kind of scary, I can tell she’s really nice.” Chansung mumbled.
The others nodded in agreement.
“I’m not in truble?” Wooyoung whispered.
“Not unless you want to be.” Nichkhun said.
“Oh, Woo may not be, but you definitely are!” Junho yelled.
Nichkhun turned to look at him. “What did I do?”
“I can’t believe you kissed a child. A CHILD!”
“Whoa, it wasn’t even like that!” Nichkhun yelled, standing up.
Junho launched himself at Nichkhun and they began wrestling on the floor. Wooyoung shook his head. He thought about stopping them, but he felt it was best for them to wrestle it out. Wooyoung waddle towards Junsu and sat down in his lap. Junsu stared down at him and wondered what he wanted. Wooyoung placed his fingers on Junsu's lips.
‘Sorry, about the bowl. I’ll get you another one....’
Junsu smiled and patted him on the head. “It’s fine. Nichkhun said he’ll get me two.”
Wooyoung smiled and watch the wrestling match that suddenly turned into a playful one. Taecyeon started acting like the referee, while Chansung was going back and forth coaching both Nichkhun and Junho.
Wooyoung felt good that they now knew what he was and that they handled it so well. Still, what he couldn’t stand was this nagging feeling that things were going to go down hill.
