...an Ishiguro adaptation in the theaters. And, the main character is played by
Ralph Fiennes *dances*. It's
The White Countess. Now Fiennes is my long-time favourite actor. When I was younger I adored him because of his appearance, but growing older I learned to appreciate his skills a lot more.
Look, he plays Voldemort in the latest Harry Potter movie - he's on screen for like 10 minutes but he's able to create a sense of evilness, a very strong presence with almost no acting tricks or extra tools. And that's it. He has the lucky combination of talent and suggestive power, so he can play very different characters from Amon Goeth to Mr. Bendrix, from Onegin to John Steed, or loan his voice to Victor Quartermaine from the Wallace & Gromit movie. Utterly, truly British acting is amazing in itself...
But now off to revamp my impressions on Ghost In The Shell: Innocence and then write about it [them].
Until now, today was surprisingly smooth, I'll get my Canon XM2 tomorrow for more than 2 weeks and and and. No brainpower to write more. But should.
