The new semester of the Jewish Summer College (erhm, it's being accredited so one can earn a grade accepted in both, the USA and Hungary, so I won't call it Yeshivacation anymore - but that really brought back memories.) It was a great day of having fun, listening to stories and jokes that had been told at least 10 times before, eating sponge cake and a superbly delicious lunch, meeting a bunch of newbies. Nothing earthshaking, but these 2 weeks will be nice anyway.
And upon arriving home I was able to watch the finish of today's etape of Tour de France, this time from the French-Basque border area - hundreds of thousands of fanatic Basques in orange caps and tees, with their flags and maps on the road.
George wins,
Ivan in a good position, too, Armstrong played fair and Ulle managed to avoid a major breakdown health-wise.
Osem's Piqant Cracker was a good company for the race, though it has such a terribly sweet aftertaste.
One more thing - I found it hilarious actually. So now I'm watching Tsubasa Chronicle, a nice, but not really outstanding CLAMP series I'm very fond of somehow. [it's a pleasant crossover, featuring nice guys and harmonic background music etc.] Ok, I downloaded the first 13 episodes happily (being confident about the whole series ranging to 26 episodes, but is the sure?), but became kind of suspicious - where's the rest? MLDonkey showed one more ep., and then I checked the NHK official site: great goodness, it's a series currently running on TV in Japan! It's not even finished! It's fresh!
I was kind of used to getting 'new' anime being 2-3 years old at least.
I'll make some scans of old Japanese photos and upload it here - I'd like all of you to vote for one, or at least commenting on them in order to pick the most appealing one for the new Tamakatsura no Eiga Hyoron coming sometime. It's nothing particularly serious yet - at least I don't want to urge
dead_cabbit, who'll make the database and the actual design. I'm just getting more and more curious about my choices of photos. Plus it's even worth looking at them, they're kind of beautiful and antique.
