No sure what to write but I've had an account for a couple of years and considering I've only posted on my profile one other time . . . I felt bad. =P So here's a post! What should I say? Well I don't know if anyone is likely to read this but I guess I can tell ya a bit about myself. =)
My name is Alyssa and I'm 18 years old and I live in the currently VERY snow covered and cold Minnesota . . . but in case you don't know much or anything about MN, snow isn't the only thing we have. While the weather sometimes does suck, a lot, it can be quite beautiful. Unlike some places we've got all the season: winter, still winter, not winter, and almost winter . . . or better known as winter, spring, summer and fall and yes even though winter is usually the longest season, it does is pretty warm here.
. . . And now I've just gone on about the weather . . . lovely.
So besides being an 18 year old Minnesotan, I'm also a freshman in college. I am currently working on a music degree to one day hopefully become a music therapist.
One part of my weird personality, and the reason I'm on LJ for the most part would be my various fandoms . . . the things that entertain me and that usually keep me up late at night. =P I've gone through being an active fan/ follower of many different fandoms, some of which include Harry Potter (the main fandom I was into when I originally made my account 6 years ago and the basis for my username . . . yes I was and still am a Harry/Hermione fan. =P), Twilight (yes, I know . . . but I was a teenage girl when the books first came out and those things are catnip for most teenage girls.), Star Wars, Star Trek: TOS, Reboot Star Trek and Star Trek Enterprise, my current favorite fandom. Ahh how I love my geeky fun!
As part of my geeky-ness I write and read fanfiction . . . a lot . . . but more reading then writing and I haven't finished enough my current story/ series I'm working on to post it yet but hopefully that won't be too long from now. =P
But yeah, what more can I say?
I mentioned that I'm a music major, and I do indeed love music. I love to sing! Voice being my primary instrument but I also play piano and am attempting to learn how to play the new, old guitar I just got for Christmas. =)
But yeah, I think I've written enough for now . . . it is after two am and I am tiered after a long day of classes. So good night all(or no one since I don't know who would actually read this . . . oh well)!
