Bump into the psycho-busy girl at the library?

Head Girl came with a lot of responsibilities, and unfortunately the combination of these duties, her commitments to her school work, and what remained of her now-dormant social life were wearing on poor Hermione. Frankly, she was in need of a friend, a person to talk to that had enough sense to keep his or her mouth shut, and yet kick Hermione

Eleanor had only recently become a study freak, knowing that many tests were only days away now. So this was why she was at the library with her Transifuration book, a book of Wizarding laws, a book on Animaguses, and many more. The books were so tall that Elley could hardly see and attempted to sit in the first chair she glanced at.

Unfortunately, it was already taken.

"Oh, non!" she explained as quietly as she could. Elley quickly put the books on the table and realized who she'd bumped.

"'erminione, I'm so sorry."

Hermione made some sort of a squeak. "Um.. that's okay, it's alright," she mumbled straightening herself out, along with a few of her papers.

"I couldn't see over all these books," Elley said, letting herself laugh about it a little even though her cheeks were bright red.

"I think I'm getting a head of myself here."

She smiled lightly. "I know the feeling, it's okay. Been in your place."

Hermione didn't mean to be short, but sometimes she was. She did have her soft moments though.

"Any advice?" Elley asked, seeing if Hermione would open up a little more.

Hermione looked up, studying the girl's face. She was serious. She was asking for tips from the Head Girl. Not really feeling that she was in the right place to give advice, Hermione felt obligated to say something.

"Keep a steady pace when you study, so that you won't have as much cramming to do before the end of term. Don't forget to review older material, and to practice." The last bit about practicing came directly from Harry.

"Oh, okay," she said, looking for the book she wanted to start with.

"Right now I'm kind of studying to be an animagus," Elley confessed with out thinking about it. "I'm turning seventeen soon and I want to become one."

Hermione looked up right away. "You're sure?" she asked, studying her carefully. Hermione had studied all about animaguses when Harry had been taunted by the newspapers. "Why, and what animal?"
