(no subject)
I was able to weasel my way into a science field trip today to see a lecture given by a Nobel Prize winner in Phyics called Why Time Can't Run Backwards. I was confused during most of it, but it was still pretty interesting. And this further proves that it never hurts to ask, even when you're technically not allowed to go. :D For some reason, all morning before going to pester the AP physics teacher I thought I was going to have to complete some sort of trial to go on the trip, like a test to prove I actually knew some physics or retrieve a worm hole. All these images of awesomeness and heroics, only for me to have to hand him the permission slip and toss me on the list as an alternate.
For some reason, I can't stop listening to Dashboard by Modest Mouse. Blast them for making a catchy song! >:(
I have to wear a dress tomorrow for some UIL theatre thing the Junior High Schools are having. Have to be an usher and "dress nice." This will probably be the only time anyone at this school will see me in a dress and I know I'm gonna be all self concious about it, but eh, I'll live. One of my friends will be there doing it, too, so it shouldn't be too bad. 8D
