gah! boston, what have you done to me?
the summer is still just a blur of work, school, and wow (and sometimes pilates, damn my motivation). i was relieved to hear of the restaurant's closing for the fourth--you'd think i'd get a break from my 8:30 am - 1:00 am days. but oh no, the traditional neighborhoood parade and picnic starts at 9. that's earlier than work and school.
eh, oh well. i'll rest when i'm dead.
mmmm thursday to boston for some relief from differential equations, stingy customers, and hopefully the suffocating heat.
hehe, not to mention a lovely weekend with slr.
i have to admit, i do love waiting tables. sure, the hourly pay sucks, the business (and therefore amount of tips) is unpredictable, it's super tiring and messy, and the customers aren't always the cheeriest, cleanest, or sanest members of society; but i love my coworkers, and the idea of earning money in tip form still thrills me.
