Stress Management tip # 2

This is another point that comes to me naturally.  Weather I am looking forward to a kiss from my Huzby a book I'm reading I try hard to think of something during the day I can look forward to.  I also try to have something big to look forward to.  Usually its a vacation.  Or something enjoyable we have planned.  It gives me something fun to imagine if I'm stuck in the humdrum of daily life.

DAn and I went to a stress management class about a year ago and one thing I really liked was the gratitude journal.  Filling that out every night made sure that throughout the day I looked for positive things.  Its amazing how something small like that can really change your outlook.  It doesn’t make depression or stresses go all the way away but it adds a protective layer so that you are a little more able to bear up under them.
